After a few on-line miscommunications with Amazon about the size and color of the rugs that we ordered, Sophie, a customer service representative from the manufacturing company, solved the problem. She asked me to explain exactly what had gone wrong and if possible send a picture. She was very patient and professional while speaking with both my husband and me. She texted and emailed us during each step of the process to correct the issue. Today our rug arrived and to our delight, it is perfect. Thank you so much.I rated this rug a 3 Star.It was just as it described, as far as the pile height and thickness.I love that it is American-Made. I always try to either support local or American-Made when I can.The reason that I returned the rug was that the binding was not the same gray as the gray rug.The product description described the area rug as solid in color.The product pictures also look like the gray binding and the gray rug are the same color.In my humble opinion, the two colors clash and make the rug look two-toned.Unfortunately, it's not what I was looking for in an area rug.It's a shame. I ordered the little size rug to make sure the color was right.I'm glad I did before ordering several in bigger sizes.I hope the company fixes this detail, and I wish them the best. :)I would totally return this item if it wasn’t such a large piece. Unfortunately the color is much lighter than pictured, and it came with mancreases in it, I have to put boards all over it to try to iron out the creases and it’s very difficult. This is a regretful purchase.I now have 11 of these! I had the privilege of speaking with their office manager last week, and she confirmed for me that this 3rd-party seller is dedicated to the quality of its carpets that are MADE IN NORTH CAROLINA, USA. They're beautiful and durable, and I like the fact that they don't slip as easily as others while, at the same time, they're easy to move when I vacuum and mop. They're also a cinch to vacuum. All of the colors that I've chosen so far are vivid -- the cranberry, the navy blue, and the neon blue are amazing. I've only cleaned up a minor spot on one in the kitchen, and it was easily removed. Low soft pile easy to clean and vacuum! Returned another brand that I bought before this one and I have to say that made in the USA makes a difference in the quality! Reminded me of so many great USA made items we grew up with. It’s worth the extra dollars and would gladly pay extra to buy more goods made here!! Thanks!!The color was just like the photo and it seems very durableThe instructions were not clear on how (NOT) to clean - i.e., DO NOT MACHINE WASH. the rug came apart - literally - in the washer. My bad - should have read the instructions more closely. There was a clear implication to clean it by hand, but nothing specific. I'll know better next time. I liked the rug - it just was not as easy to clean as I assumed. In fact, I bought another one, this time knowing NOT to machine wash. Caveat emptor - and caveat lectorum.The rug has a lot of orange or red, but it totally clashed with my dark brown decor. It also felt super cheap an the backing was crumbling off, I unrolled the rug.... and returned the next day. Not worth the cost..Nice rug... exactly what I expected.
