These stair treads are fabulous! My foyer became a foy-yay after putting them down! Beautiful and classy!!They are well made and I love the way they look. I also like how the stairs are no longer slippery. They were easy to apply, I just used the carpet double sided tape and put them on clean dry stairs. Before they were applied my dog fell on the stairs and refused to go up them. Now that the rugs are there she has no problem running up or down!These stair treads added the final touch to our lake house. They were easy to install, durable and the perfect accent to lead the way to our lift master suite.I had my eye on these for quite sometime but they were expensive so I was hesitant. Once I bought them and put them on with doubleSided tape I am extremely happy with the purchase. These are great. Very nice material and quality.I bought a 2 x 3 basketweave with tan border which is light yellow/brown. Nice overall appearance; border stitching is very clean and folded over at corners so no crooked or lumpy mitered seams. Weave is a bit bulky for this size rug and I had to trim and tuck some wild fibers, but I'm happy with it. It is NOT finely woven seagrass. It's more of a chunky, rough and rugged, don't-worry-about-it kind of weave that works well for my purposes at the door to my deck. Use a rug pad. Rug will slide without one.We are super pleased with these! We moved into an old house needing a lot of work and were looking to cover the stairs after pulling out old carpet. Underneath was lead paint so we could not sand. We painted then added these! Perfect! Also made it much easier for doggies!My elderly small dog was starting to have a great deal of trouble going down my uncarpeted, hardwood stairs. My stairs are very narrow - a runner accentuates this, and I didn't want to do a full carpet. Previous carpet stair treads I've seen are strictly for old painted stairs to an unfinished basement. Then I saw these! I adore seagrass and know it wears very well. I order them and they're perfect - really quite unobtrusive, which is what I wanted. They're perfect and my dear little dog is so much happier going down the stairs - it has give her back her self-confidence. As an old lady myself, I know what this means!I didn’t take into consideration what this product would feel like on bare feet...and it is not good. It will cost me $60 to return normal post so I am going to try and sell locally. The quality, colour, packaging and speed of delivery was good.Great quality product and very nice looking. The treads do not stick to the stairs on their own of course. You need to buy a tape. We have them on laminate surface. Very happy with purchase.Love these treads. They stay in place and look great if you want a tropical vibe.I find these treads make the stairs look even more attractive than withoutThey look awesome. Just what we needed.
